What planning software cannot fix on its own

What is transport planning software?

How is it different from planning in a spreadsheet?
A spreadsheet does not know your delivery windows, dock times or truck capacity, so your planner has to hold all of that in their head. Retrack TMS applies those limits automatically and rebuilds a route in seconds when something changes. It also tracks the trucks once they leave, which a spreadsheet cannot do at all.
Can I plan third-party trucks alongside my own fleet?
Yes. You can plan, assign and manage charter trucks next to your own fleet from one dashboard. When your own capacity runs short, you can hand overflow routes straight to third-party trucks instead of turning the work away.
Does it integrate with the systems we already use?
Yes. Retrack TMS connects to your existing systems through native integrations, EDI, APIs and webhooks, so you are not entering the same data twice. Where your operation works differently from the standard, our development team builds features to fit without disturbing the core platform.
Do drivers need special hardware?
No. Drivers use a mobile app on an ordinary smartphone. The app gives them their route, sends their location back in real time and captures digital signatures at delivery.
